1. Will my settings be kept when I install the new ShareInvestor Station?

You can safely install the latest ShareInvestor Station v5.5 over your existing ShareInvestor Station. All your existing settings and layouts will be unaffected.

2. How do I go back to using Dynamic TA Chart v1 in ShareInvestor Station?

In ShareInvestor Station, select Options->Miscellaneous and check the option “Use Dynamic TA Chart v1".

3. How do I import my templates and studies from Dynamic TA Chart v1?

Sorry, it is not possible to import the templates and studies from Dynamic TA Chart v1.

4. Do we need to pay extra to upgrade to Dynamic TA Chart v2?

No. All existing users with Dynamic TA Chart will enjoy free upgrade to the new Dynamic TA Chart v2.

5. Will Dynamic TA Chart v1 still be available in ShareInvestor Station?

Dynamic TA Chart v1 will be phased out from ShareInvestor Station by the second quarter of 2009.

Not at this moment although we plan to add this function in a later update to the Dynamic TA Chart.

7. I receive an installation error when I try to install or run ShareInvestor Station with Dynamic TA Charts v2. I am using Windows 2000.

You need to install the Microsoft GDI+ Redistributable. You can download and install this software from Microsoft website by clicking here. Then copy gdiplus.dll from the package to your station installation folder.

8. Can I provide feedback and suggestion on Dynamic TA Chart?

9. My chart setting disappear every time I close the chart window.

To preserve your current chart setting and apply it to new chart windows, please choose "save as default" under the template icon.

10. My previous intraday chart setting disappeared after using the new version.

To restore your previous setting, please select back the view, duration and indicators previously used in any intraday chart window and save the setting as a named template. Then apply this templale in those intraday windows you want to restore layouts. You can also save it as the default template.
